Lawyer Metin Serbest is located in Chicago, Illinois and was founded in 2012 by attorney at law Metin Serbest, esq.  We provide legal expertise in immigration law, international business investment, transactions, and disputes, and international human rights.

Our firm will gladly represent your individual human rights related applications to The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey (Anayasa Mahkemesi), The European Court  of Human Rights (ECHR), and the Federal Court of the United States for claims under The Alien Tort Claims Act (ATCA).

We are aware that the migration process can be challenging at times. That’s why we strive to help with asylum, family or employment-based visas, immigrant investor visa (EB-5, E-2), merchant visa (E-1). Our efforts are also ongoing for counselor proceedings, waivers, naturalization and naturalization, visas for victims of crime (U visa) or VAWA.

Q Is there a fee for an initial consultation?

Over the phone consultations for 15 minutes are free. In office consultations are $125 for the first 30 minutes, however, this amount could be deducted towards your final bill if our office is retained by you.

Q How long is the wait for appointments?

Call our office to check for appointment availabilities. Appointment wait times can vary depending on attorney availability and case urgency.

Q Do I have to wait for an appointment if my case involves a detained person?

Do not wait. Contact us immediately. Situations that require immediate attention will be prioritized by our office.

Q Do the attorneys speak any other language besides English?

Yes, we speak Turkish and Kurdish (Kurmanji and Sorani). We can also arrange for accommodations for Chinese,Spanish,Ukrainian,Polish, Arabic, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, and Russian speaking clients.
